We are pleased to introduce our new mental health series. This is a series of six in-depth workshops which aim to take your knowledge and awareness to the next level, and covers a whole host of topics from anxiety to self-harm to coaching. There is something for everyone.

 

Designed with the learner in mind, this training is perfect no matter where you are on your mental health knowledge journey. Use these workshops to:

Connect 5Connect 5 is a three day mental health training programme designed to increase confidence and core skills so that you can be more effective in having conversations about mental health and wellbeing.

 

We offer a variety of different groups and activities that young people can get involved in to support in staying mentally well; these can include:

  • Art classes

  • Good-mood food workshops

  • Online safety sessions

...and much, much more!

 

Problem SolvingOur Problem Solving service is for young people who need help to deal with a particular problem or issue in their life.

 

The Problem Solving service focuses on agreeing goals and actions to be able to overcome or solve a particular problem or issue.

 

Groups & ActivitiesWe offer a variety of different groups and activities that young people can get involved in to support in staying mentally well; these can include:

  • Art classes

  • Good-mood food workshops

  • Online safety sessions

Sometimes when we are trying to cope with lots of things in our lives it can be difficult to be able to know what to do or how to deal with problems.

 

Groups & ActivitiesWe have lots of different groups and activities that young people can access to help them feel better, learn something new or just to have fun. 

 

It's also a great chance to make some new friends!

 

We offer arts & crafts sessions, cooking workshops, building with Lego sessions and loads more to choose from.

 

Our Problem Solving Service is for young people who need help to deal with a problem or issue in their life.

 

Sometimes when we are trying to cope with lots of things in our lives it can be difficult to be able to know what to do or how to deal with problems.

 

Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind have a variety of rooms within the centre which external organisations or representatives can hire out for their work or studies. Rooms can be hired as a one-off or via a block booking.

 

Rooms are also available for free to those holding events aimed at supporting the community and are available within the organisation. To book a free room you should contact our Adult Services management team about this.

 

Bespoke TrainingTameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind have a long history of delivering a variety of training, workshops, and accredited courses such as Mental Health First Aid.

 

However we are also aware that each organisation has varying needs and sometimes require more bespoke training.
