Tameside, Oldham & Glossop Mind have teamed up with 42nd Street to bring your ideas of what mental health support should look like to life.

Introducing Community Hive, Tameside & Glossop’s Community Mental & Emotional Wellbeing Offer, providing a range of support, information, guidance, and training to young people age 8 - 18 years old, living in Tameside and Glossop.

42nd Street is an innovative Greater Manchester young people’s mental health charity with 40 years’ experience of providing free and confidential services to young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health and emotional wellbeing. Click on the logo for more info!

Our Bases

Ashton

We are open on Wednesdays in Ashton from our TOG Mind Katherine Street branch, from 4pm - 8pm.

There is no need to book an appointment as we invite people to walk-in on the night. If for any reason an appointment is needed you can call us on 0161 330 9223.

 

Hyde

Our Hyde hub is located at St. Barnabas Hattersley Rd East, Hattersley, Hyde SK14 3EQ.

The Old RAF Scout Hut, behind St Barnabas meeting point, Hattersley Rd East, Hattersley, Hyde SK14 3EQ (please be aware when putting postcode into satnav that it takes you past the hub, so you are better entering St Barnabas Meeting Point to locate the hub.)

 

Stalybridge

We are open Tuesdays in Stalybridge from - Academy HQ Dance Studio, Leech Street, Stalybridge, SK15 1ST 3pm - 7pm (booked appointments only).

How to Access

To access The Children & Young Peoples Community Offer, all young people must attend our ‘Walk-In’ for assessment and brief intervention. Following the walk-in young people will have access to various options of support based on their individual needs, evenings are as follows:

 

Tameside

When: Every Wednesday 4pm - 8pm (last appointment is 7:15pm)

Where: TOG Mind - 216-218 Katherine Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL6 7AS

Who: Any young people aged 8-18 can attend a drop in. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent/carer/guardian. Young people 13+ can access a walk-in without parents/carers/guardians.

Please note we do not accept booked appointments at our Ashton Office unless circumstances make walk-ins difficult.

 

Hyde

When: Every Monday

Where: Our Hyde hub is located at the old cadets centre, on the grounds of St Barnabas Hattersley Rd East, Hattersley, Hyde SK14 3EQ.

Who: Any young people aged 8-18 can attend a walk-in. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent/carer/guardian. Young people 13+ can access without parents/carers/guardians.

Please note: We can only offer booked appointments in this area.

 

Stalybridge

When: Every Tuesday 3:30pm –  7pm (last Appointment 6:15pm)

Where: Stalybridge from Stalybridge Community Hub, Grosvenor Street, Stalybridge SK15 2JN

Who: Any young people aged 8-18 can attend a walk-in. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent/carer/guardian. Young people 13+ can access without parents/carers/guardians.
