Making Every Contact Count
Many long-terms diseases in our population are closely linked to known behavioural risk factors. Around 40% of the UK’s disability adjusted life years lost are attributable to tobacco, hypertension, alcohol, being overweight or being physically inactive.



At Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind we offer counselling to all residents of Tameside and Glossop aged 16 or over.

 Youth in Mind

Just as our bodies can become poorly, people’s minds can become emotionally unwell. People of all ages can become emotionally unwell, that is why we're here to help with Youth in Mind.


 Active Monitoring

Active Monitoring is an early intervention, guided self-help service that runs from a number of GP practices in Oldham.



We are currently offering a huge range of both fully accredited courses and awareness sessions. Our courses aim to educate our community in a variety of areas surrounding Mental Health.

 Topaz Café

The Topaz Café is a not-for-profit hub that creates a huge selection of freshly made vegetarian meals at a reasonable price. Let Topaz take care of your lunch while you take care of yourself!



Fundraising greatly helps us gain much needed funds so we can continue to improve and expand the services we offer throughout the community. It's also a great way to get active and meet new people!

Latest News

The last 6 months have seen a 400% increase in referrals to some of our services and reports of depression almost doubling based on last year. COVID-19 has led to the cancellation of our traditional fundraising events and we need your help urgently.

James has had quite the journey with us at TOG Mind and we couldn't be prouder of him. Through his time with the Buddy Project he's developed a lot professionally and personally and he wanted to share his story.



Uplifting Mindful Monday Success!

Fantastic weather and wonderful people helped make Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind’s session on Monday a huge success under difficult local restrictions.


Clare has been with us at Tameside, Oldham and Glossop for a few years and we couldn't have been happier to have her along for the ride with us through everything! She's moving onto pastures new, but she didn't want to leave without sharing her experiences during her time with us.



Walking across England for better mental health

Local fundraisers are planning to walk across England and raise vital funds for Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind. 

TOG Mind aims to promote a culture where discrimination is eliminated, and to provide an environment of equal opportunities where everyone recognises the positive contribution a diverse workforce and community can make. 

Our friends at IntraQuest recently got in touch and asked if we would like to provide content for their Wellbeing Weekly - Issue 9.


It seemed like the ideal opportunity to update people on our currently work, how people can access support and how we can all help ourselves.
