Within our organisation, enabling individuals to be able to effectively support children and young people is regarded as essential.

 

Bespoke Pupil ServicesTameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind offers educational and therapeutic pupil services to children and young people through statutory organisations, community agencies and other groups.

 

Support for ParentsAs an organisation we recognise that support for children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health issues is vital; we also recognise that support for parents and carers within a young persons life can be equally as important.

 

It can be both distressing and stressful when trying to offer support to young people, to know what the ‘right’ thing to do is and where to go.

 

Introduction to Support ServicesSupporting children and young people to maintain and improve their emotional wellbeing and mental health is more significant in society today than ever before. We offer support services to help them get the assistance they may need.

 

#thrive 14 - 16+#Thrive is an award winning, innovative service provided in partnership with:

 

Our Drop-in & Sort-it service is for young people who would like speak to someone confidentially and in a safe space.

They can be used as an offloading space or can be used to find out about what other services are available for you to get support.

 

You will be listened to and the worker will try to find the best way to help you either with our services or by helping you to access other services.

We offer a variety of different groups and activities that young people can get involved in to support in staying mentally well; these can include:

  • Art classes

  • Good-mood food workshops

  • Online safety sessions
