February 1st 2018 will be Time to Talk Day! This national campaign is run by Time to Change and is celebrated every year as a day to get talking about mental health.

This years theme is Any Time, Anywhere, talk about mental health.

There are LOADS of ways you can get involved to start conversations about mental health and help our community break the negative stigma. You can join the conversation on twitter and facebook, or come down to our centre from 10.

We are also looking for entries for our poetry competition! Why not show off your creative writing talents and enter your work? Writing and reading can be a fantastic way to talk about mental health and wellbeing. These pieces will be judged by the Civic Mayor of Tameside, Councillor Joyce Bowerman and Jenny Higson, CEO of TOG Mind.

Send your entries to [email protected] by 26th January.

From 10am we've got loads going on at our wellbeing centre on Katherine Street.

10am    •  A walk & talk
11am    •  A mental health workshop and quiz
12pm    •  Free tea and cake with the Civic Mayor of Tameside, Councillor Joyce Bowerman, announcing our poetry competition.

Plus take part in our pledge wall, add your message to our stigma tree and get involved in mindful colouring.
