At Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind we offer counselling to all residents of Tameside and Glossop aged 16 or over.
Join our Interactive, online wellbeing services to help you cope better whilst social distancing.
Just as our bodies can become poorly, people’s minds can become emotionally unwell. People of all ages can become emotionally unwell, that is why we're here to help with Youth in Mind.
Active Monitoring is an early intervention, guided self-help service that runs from a number of GP practices in Oldham.
We are currently offering a huge range of both fully accredited courses and awareness sessions. Our courses aim to educate our community in a variety of areas surrounding Mental Health.
We are working with adults in Tameside who are experiencing mental health difficulties. Our aim is to use coaching and mentoring techniques to support them to improve their mental health and wellbeing whilst reducing loneliness and isolation.
The Topaz Café is a not-for-profit hub that creates a huge selection of freshly made vegetarian meals at a reasonable price. Let Topaz take care of your lunch while you take care of yourself!
Fundraising greatly helps us gain much needed funds so we can continue to improve and expand the services we offer throughout the community. It's also a great way to get active and meet new people!
Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind remains open to provide mental health help and support.
As the year draws to a close and we forge onward into 2021 the festive period will give us all a chance to find some time for ourselves and reflect on things, and to look to the future.
The last 6 months have seen a 400% increase in referrals to some of our services and reports of depression almost doubling based on last year. COVID-19 has led to the cancellation of our traditional fundraising events and we need your help urgently.
James has had quite the journey with us at TOG Mind and we couldn't be prouder of him. Through his time with the Buddy Project he's developed a lot professionally and personally and he wanted to share his story.
