The Hive is a mental health and wellbeing hub for children and young people aged 8-18 in Tameside and Glossop. We offer a variety of support for children and young people struggling with low level mental health issues or in need of wellbeing support.

 

We are open on Mondays at Glossop Primary Care Centre from 4pm - 8pm and Wednesdays at our centre in Ashton from 4pm - 8pm. To book an appointment you can call us on 0161 330 9223. On Mondays we only offer booked appointments; on Wednesdays you can either book or walk in between 4pm and 7pm.

If you are under 13, you will need to attend The Hive with a parent/carer. You can go into your appointment without them if you wish, but they will need to remain in the building.

 

If you are over 13, you can access The Hive without your parent/carers consent. Do feel free to bring them along though if you wish.

 

How to access The Hive

To access The Hive services, all young people must attend a ‘Drop-in’ assessment first. Drop-in evenings are as follows:

 

Glossop

When: Every Monday 4pm-8pm (last appointment is 7:15pm)

Where: Glossop Primary Care Centre

Who: Any young people aged 8-18 can attend a drop in. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent/carer/guardian. Young people 13+ can access without parents/carers/guardians.

Please note: We can only offer booked appointments in Glossop.

 

Tameside

When: Every Monday 4pm-8pm (last appointment is 7:15pm)

Where: TOG Mind - 216-218 Katherine Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL6 7AS

Who: Any young people aged 8-18 can attend a drop in. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent/carer/guardian. Young people 13+ can access without parents/carers/guardians.

Please note we accept booked appointments and walk-ins at our Ashton office.
