Young People's CoursesWhen we are struggling to cope with something it can sometimes be useful to speak to someone, of a similar age, who might be struggling with similar issues; peer support is one of the most important thing to ensuring we stay mentally well.


Our young people's courses aim to offer support to young people by teaching them how to deal with different issues, whilst also giving them the opportunity to speak to other young people, in a safe space, to understand you are not alone and to help young people to help each other with their issues.


We have courses to help with things such as:

  • Managing Anger

  • Dealing with Anxiety and Worries

  • Building Confidence

  • Building Resilience

  • Help with friendships

All courses are delivered with young people of similar ages to help everyone feel comfortable and safe.

Age groups: 
What will happen?

Once you have decided you would like to attend a course, you will be sent all the information you need; such as:

  • Dates

  • Times

  • How often

  • How long sessions will be


Most of our courses are delivered for 1 hour per week for 4 - 6 weeks.

Who should I bring with me?

For anyone 13 years old or above you are able to access sessions without parent or carer permission, however please be aware should we feel that you or another person may be in danger we would need to discuss this with either your parent or carer, or another agency.


We may also ask you to complete a ‘Getting Home Safe’ form at your first sessions so we know you are safe when you leave us.
