We offer a variety of different groups and activities that young people can get involved in to support in staying mentally well; these can include:

  • Art classes

  • Good-mood food workshops

  • Online safety sessions

...and much, much more!

We value feedback from young people about our services and their experiences within our service; at times we will hold participation sessions or focus groups with young people to provide feedback about services or to contribute to the development of new services.

If you are interested in getting involved in this type of activity please see below for more information.

What will happen?

If you register to attend a group or activity you will be sent information about what you may need to bring to a session or if there is a cost for attending the session.

Most groups and activities are delivered flexibly, meaning you are able to drop-in and attend as much or little as you like. You will be in sessions with other young people who have a similar interest in the activity you are attending.

Generally you will not be encouraged to talk about anything private or personal in groups or activities but if you feel you would like to speak to someone you are able to discuss this with a member of staff and they can help you.

Who should I bring with me?

For anyone above 13 years old, you are able to access sessions without parent or carer permission, however please be aware should we feel that you or another person may be in danger we would need to discuss this with either your parent or carer, or another agency.

We may also ask you to complete a ‘Getting Home Safe’ form at your first sessions so we know you are safe when you leave us.

Who do I contact?

If you would like some more information on courses we offer and how to sign up; please don’t hesitate to call us 0161 330 9223. You could also come down to to our office and inquire in person.
