Supporting children and young people to maintain and improve their emotional wellbeing and mental health is more significant in society today than ever before. We offer support services to help them get the assistance they may need.
In recent years there has been a spotlight aimed at increasing prevalence of emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties faced by children and young people and the challenge this creates for those within support roles, such as:
Parents, carers, and extended family members
Support services, such as health visitors
Community and youth workers
Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind recognises how important it is to provide support in enabling all members within the wider community to be able to effectively recognise when a child or young person needs support, and actions that can be taken to get them the support they need, at the most appropriate time.
We offer a diverse range of bespoke services aimed at providing support directly to children and young people with emotional wellbeing or mental health issues and a range of knowledge and skills based training for those supporting young people within the community.
