Young peoples courses can help you learn more about something you are struggling with and learn ways to cope better, whilst being able to talk to other young people your age who might be struggling too.

Sometimes it is good to know that you are not alone in what you are going through; our courses help young people to learn ways to cope with different issues with other young people who may be going through the same things.

We have courses to help with things such as:

  • Managing Anger

  • Dealing with Anxiety and Worries

  • Building Confidence

  • Building Resilience

  • Help with friendships

All courses are delivered with young people of similar ages to help everyone feel comfortable and safe.

To find out what Courses are on offer please see below.

Age groups:
What will happen?

Once you have decided you would like to attend a course, you will be sent all the information you need; such as:

  • Dates

  • Times

  • How often

  • How long sessions will be

Most of our courses are delivered for 1 hour per week for 4 - 6 weeks.

Who should I bring with me?

Any young person under 13 years old will need permission from their parent or carer to attend a course.

Your parent or carer will need to bring you to your sessions to make sure you have permission to attend, but they do not need to stay in the sessions with you.

The reason we ask this is to make sure someone is aware you are coming to get help from us and so we can work together to keep you safe whilst you are here, and when you leave.

Who do I contact?

If you would like some more information on courses we offer and how to sign up; please don’t hesitate to call us on 0161 330 9223. You could also come down to to our office and inquire in person.
