Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind have a variety of rooms within the centre which external organisations or representatives can hire out for their work or studies. Rooms can be hired as a one-off or via a block booking.

 

Rooms are also available for free to those holding events aimed at supporting the community and are available within the organisation. To book a free room you should contact our Adult Services management team about this.

 

Rooms are available to hire Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm & Friday 9am - 4pm inclusive. Any other bookings outside of these times would be subject to discussion.

 

Equipment and Facilities available:

  • Overhead projector and screen:
    Included in the hire of our Training Room is an overhead projector, smartboard and whiteboard.

  • Flipchart paper and pens:
    Available for all bookings on request.

  • WiFi:
    Our wifi password is available for all booking on request. (NB/ Please be aware that our Wi-Fi may not reach every room so it is advisable for you to either bring a memory stick as a back-up or save your required work to your own desktop).

  • Photocopying and / or printing:
    If you require printing on the day then please ask the reception staff and we will be happy to accommodate however this is subject to a charge of 10p per sheet.

Terms and Conditions
  1. Payment must be made at least 7 days in advance of the room booking. Acknowledgment of payment will either be e-mailed or a text message sent; on rare occasions this will be confirmed in writing where there is not the option of e-mail or text messages. Please note we try and avoid postal correspondence where possible as we are only a small charity and this is not cost effective for us.

  2. In the event of cancellation, without at least 48 hours-notice, the hirer will be liable for 50% of the full hire charge.

  3. The hirer’s is advised to take out his/her own insurance to provide the requisite cover.

To be able to accommodate your booking we ideally require a minimum of 7 days notice to co-ordinate your requirements.

 

However we will endeavour to arrange bookings at short notice where possible however this may not always be feasible.
