We would like to invite you to an exciting new programme of regular wellbeing sessions designed to increase wellbeing and improve mental health whilst connecting with others in a safe and supportive environment. All sessions are free.

All sessions below will take place on a Friday between 1:30pm and 2:30pm. Please arrive a few minutes early or enjoy some food or drink in our café (not provided).
We are hoping these will be regular sessions and will send information about these, and other events, in a weekly “e-update”. If you do not want to be sent this weekly information please contact reception and ask to be removed from the mailing list.
Our yoga session is a slow paced, relaxing practice offering gentle movement, breathing techniques and guided meditation. It can help you to relax, manage stress, increase physical activity and balance the mind and body. This class is suitable for all levels including beginners.
Arts and Crafts
Come and join us for a relaxing activity of ceramic tile painting. Decorate a plain white tile and make it into something beautiful to display at home, or give as a gift. We will provide a calming environment to help you get creative to reduce stress and increase self-esteem. Mindful creative activities like painting can help you to develop a greater sense of wellbeing whilst using all the senses. It can aid concentration, helping to relax the body and focus your mind. We plan to deliver a different activity each month
Good Mood Food
We invite you to an exciting session on “good mood food” where you can find out about the link between food and wellbeing as well as learn how to cook a tasty vegetarian curry, on a budget. Participants will watch the cooking demonstration and get chance to eat curry afterwards whilst connecting with others.
Creative and Expressive Writing
From creative writing to journaling and blogging…..writing can be great for our mental health and wellbeing. It can provide an escape for a stressed mind, or help to off load and take a step back from worries or traumatic events.
Worried you won't know what to write or lack confidence? This session aims to show you that anyone can increase wellbeing through writing - "You can always edit a bad page, you can't edit a blank page." - Jodi Picoult
Singing is great for our mental and physical health in so many ways. It increases feel good hormones as well as regulates breathing, great for our minds and bodies. These monthly group singing sessions will be particularly beneficial as connecting with others, whilst practicing new songs has been found to very good for mental health. Don't worry if you've never done it before or think you can't sing. Come along, try something new and have fun!
Monday Mindful Moments
Would you like to try mindfulness or have attended a course and want to keep it up? Every other Monday we offer a guided mindfulness session open to existing or new clients. Mindfulness is an evidence based technique that can help you manage depression, stress and anxiety by increasing awareness and focusing on the present moment.
Sessions will take place every other Monday at 5pm – 6pm starting from 7th October.
