Another of the Five Ways to Wellbeing is to keep learning. Every day, take some time to learn something new. This can be anything at all! Learn a skill, read a book, join a sports team. An active mind can really help improve your wellbeing.

One of the Five Ways to Wellbeing is to Take Notice. Taking notice can be anything from noticing the environment around you, to trying to listen to a friend, to recognising your senses.

Giving has proven to be a fantastic way to improve your mental wellbeing. Try to give something every day. This doesn't need to be money, or a gift, simply giving a smile or offering to lend a hand can be just as valuable to another person, and can help you to feel better too.

Research has shown, time and time again, that an active body can help create a healthier mind. Keeping active shouldn't be a chore; head out for a wander to the shops rather than taking the bus; get into the garden or join an allotment project like our kitchen garden; have a little dance in your kitchen; or even just take the dog for a walk.
