Our Early Intervention Service is for young people who might be struggling to cope with different difficulties or issues in their lives, such as anger, worry, feeling down or lacking in confidence.

 

Young People's CoursesWhen we are struggling to cope with something it can sometimes be useful to speak to someone, of a similar age, who might be struggling with similar issues; peer support is one of the most important thing to ensuring we stay mentally well.

 

Problem SolvingOur Problem Solving service is for young people who need help to deal with a particular problem or issue in their life.

 

The Problem Solving service focuses on agreeing goals and actions to be able to overcome or solve a particular problem or issue.

 

CounsellingCounselling is for young people that may be struggling to cope with things in their life, such as feeling down, worried or lonely.

 

Counselling can help you to understand what you are going through and how to cope better.

 

You will be able to build a trusting relationship with a counsellor, who will help you to talk about your problems and feelings.

 

The HiveThe Hive is a designated young peoples service which offers a range of activities to support young people who may be struggling with different issues or for those who want to get involved in groups as part of their local community.

 

We offer a good mood food café, a calendar of different events, and access to therapeutic interventions, all you need to do is call in on The Hive evening and speak to someone.

#Thrive is an award winning, innovative service provided in partnership with Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind, L4L and Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.

 

Drop-in & Sort-itOur Drop-in & Sort-it service is for young people who would like speak to someone confidentially and in a safe space.

 

They can be used as an offloading space or can be used to find out about what other services are available for you to get support.

 

Groups & ActivitiesWe offer a variety of different groups and activities that young people can get involved in to support in staying mentally well; these can include:

  • Art classes

  • Good-mood food workshops

  • Online safety sessions

Young People's CoursesSometimes it is good to know that you are not alone in what you are going through; our young people's courses help young people to learn ways to cope with different issues with other young people.
