Having enough sleep can help you feel ready to tackle the day in front of you. Have a think of all the activities you do every day -  From going to school and learning all kinds of new things to joining in with your favourite sports - every day is a busy day! This is why sleep is so important! Scientists believe you should be having around 10 hours of sleep a night to help your brain store information, and solve problems.  It will also help you to refill your energy levels so you wake in the morning ready to tackle another day!

Have you ever noticed feeling overly cranky when you wake up in the morning?  One of the reasons for this is that you may not have had enough sleep! Sleep is just as important as food and drink in how you feel. Try to have 10 hours sleep a night, every night for a week, and see how you feel afterwards!
