Snowdon Hike with Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind | Tameside Oldham and Glossop Mind

Our first ever sponsored hike in partnership with Adventure Based Learning in Greenfield! Join us for an exciting day of adventure. Whether you're a seasoned walker, or want to take on a brand new personal challenge with a group of like-minded individuals, sign up and join the Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind Snowdon Hike team and raise funds at the same time. A team of 12 individuals will be tackling the summit. At 1085m above sea level, it is the highest mountain in England and Wales and offers an unbelievable view at the top!

This event will take place on Saturday 15th September.

Transport, equipment and guides for the day are included, along with a training day in the run up to the event so that you can get to grips with any equipment and techniques that will be necessary.

The training day will take place locally in Greenfield.

On the day of the hike up Snowdon, it will be action-packed running from 8am to approx. 5/6pm.

Pick-up and drop-off for hike day will be from Positive Steps in Oldham, right next door to the big Sainsburys!
