Charlotte Bennett, who is a Small Employer Advisor, will be joining us to discuss what her role is and the Employer Offer provided by Jobcentre Plus. There will also be discussion around the Disability Confident Scheme.

The idea behind the Small Employer Offer is to help small, local employers to employ disabled people and people with health conditions. Businesses with 25 or fewer employees can recieve extra support through Jobcentre Plus.

The Disability Confident Scheme aims to help you successfully employ and retain disabled people and those with health conditions. Being Disability Confident provides you with a unique opportunity as a small business to lead the way in your community, and you might just discover someone your business can't do without.

Attendees will be given a talk by Charlotte, who will discuss what packs and support is available to employers and be able to answer any questions or queries you might have around the subject.

The session will run from 8am to 10am.
