Training is an essential part of raising the awareness of mental health issues and helping people improve their own emotional wellbeing. As a result, we provide a wide range of services and workshops to businesses, schools, other organisations and members of the community:
We are working with primary and secondary schools across Tameside, Oldham and Glossop to help schools improve the mental health and wellbeing of their whole school community.
Our ten week City and Guilds Accredited course will give you the skills you need to begin your career in the mental health sector.
Poor mental health is now the leading cause of illness in the workplace. Our Mindful Employer training provides information and guidance to businesses, schools and other organisations in how to improve employee wellbeing.
Gain FREE training and information on how to better support others with emotional issues at one of our community resilience workshops. Available free of charge to anyone aged 16+ who lives or works in Oldham.
By joining our group of Community Partners in Tameside and Oldham, you can help us provide emotional support to others in your local community.
We have been awarded funding to provide mental health training to support emergency services staff and volunteers from police, fire, ambulance, and search and rescue services.
Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind have been approved to offer MHFA Standard course.
