Digital Marketing Apprentice – 30 hours a week, hourly pay rate £3.50, 24 month contract, 25 days holiday (Ref:DMA2)

Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind are recruiting a Digital Marketing Apprentice to assist with the marketing and promotion of the organisation through social media, the website and other online mediums. This exciting opportunity will enable the post holder to engage in a variety of different digital marketing ventures and explore new options for the charity’s online presence. It will also allow for the apprentice to put the skills gained on their course into practice and work independently as well as in a team. The apprenticeship will be across 24 months where you will work mainly with the Marketing Team to create appealing content which will engage a wide variety of different people.

The post holder will work collaboratively with the Marketing Team to maintain and develop the online presence of the charity whilst helping to raise awareness of the organisation through creative digital marketing. We want to engage people with an interest in mental health and wellbeing and our organisation and train them to support the services we deliver. During your 24 months, you will discover how mental health support is offered and delivered through this well-established voluntary sector organisation, and will be encouraged to think creatively about ways in which we can raise awareness of these services to people in the local area.

Tasks will include assisting in the management of all social media, web and online communications, creating visuals and content, and assisting in the development of our website. You will learn about lots of different online marketing tools as well as how to apply these in an organisation whilst adhering to our recognised brand. During the apprenticeship you will gain an understanding of target markets, customer analytics and persuasive messaging, skills which will be crucial in any marketing role.

Relevant training will be available on an ongoing basis to enable the successful candidate to advance their skills not only in their role but also in a range of other fields. Should you be successful you will also attend a comprehensive three day core training programme which will help to introduce you to the organisation and guide you through our internal procedures.

Community Development Business Administration Apprentice – 30 hours a week, hourly pay rate £3.50, 12 month contract, 25 days holiday (Ref:CDBAA)

Do you want to be involved with the Community Development Team working with adults to help TOG Mind deliver innovative services that make a difference to the local community? Would you like to be part of a rapidly expanding team who educate, inform and empower people to take care of their own mental health and wellbeing

The business administration role would be perfect for you. This fantastic role will include development and delivery of new services and training models. You will be building on new and existing partnerships within the community and provide an efficient, reliable service that promotes inclusivity. You will demonstrate the performance of the organisation to funders, enabling us to meet their targets and fulfil our current contracts. You will help to secure new funding to provide more services.

As part of the role you will support with planning and preparing resources for a range of internal and external courses which will help to improve and develop your delivery/facilitation skills. There will be opportunities to access our 10 week, accredited City and Guilds Level 2 course in Community Mental Health. You will develop communication/interpersonal skills (written and verbal) and your IT skills. You will gain experience working in a busy office environment and using databases whilst being at the forefront of new and emerging services in a professional, friendly and supportive team

Would you like to be a part of a team that supports the organisation to deliver amazing services to our local community? Our Client Services team acts as the front door to our organisation and are committed to ensuring our clients and customers receive the best possible service and we evidence this great work that we do

The team supports the organisation in many ways including, taking referrals and handling enquiries sensitively and efficiently. You will be making and receiving calls using a multi-line phone system for which you will receive training. You will need to be able to process information and input data and support other administrative tasks. The role includes working with teams to deliver services and implementing processes. As we are a mental health charity, you will be supporting clients experiencing varying levels of mental health difficulties, identifying risk and safeguarding concerns, all of which you will receive training for where required.
