Our Information Centre is based within Topaz Café, in Ashton-Under-Lyne and offers information, support and signposting services for any enquiry you may have. We deal with a wide range of enquiries from our clients, concerned family members, external organisations we work with and other health professionals. These enquiries may take place in person, over the phone or via email. Workers based at the information Centre always handle all enquiries in a polite, supportive manner and will always try and seek out additional information as required if they do not have the details to hand.
Within the information Centre we hold a supply of National Mind leaflets around various conditions/symptoms and also display various information leaflets from other organisations that offer services that can help to improve mental health and wellbeing.
Within Tameside, Oldham and Glossop we offer appointments based on where you live as well as offering paid services for people based outside of the area. The Client services team are there to make the client’s journey as smooth as possible. This could be a friendly face when you come in the building, providing all the relevant information, arranging initial assessments, offering appointments for services, completing referrals, and liaising with other professionals to increase awareness of the services available.
